Accounting Dinner II

The one in May was so fun, we had a second one on Thursday night! The menu was a hodgepodge of Osaka pancakes, nabe, noodles, pizza, and popcorn (it got weird), but everyone seemed to have a good time. Thanks for all of the pictures Therese! (cont’d)

Immigration

The final visa paperwork arrived this week (Certificate of Eligibility, etc) and after a quick trip to the immigration office in Gifu our status has officially been upgraded to ”intra-company transferee”. Hanami is a Japanese tradition involving outdoor parties and enjoying the beauty of the flowers. It was a lot of fun! Also today (4/29) starts “The [...]

Joe

A dear friend and coworker from WPC passed away on Thursday, and though we cannot be at his service today, we are thinking about him and his family. Joe was the nicest, kindest, most easy-going man I have ever known. If only we were all just a little bit more like Joe, no one would [...]

Yamagata-San returns…

Sounds like a movie title, but then again not really. To help ring in the new year, Yamagata-san visited our facility to give a company speech.  His speech centered around unity and harmony.
